You are only as old as you choose to be.

Carol Holaday wears many hats

Over the course of my life I’ve worn many hats.  I’ve worked as an art teacher, raised three kids, worked in a labor and delivery unit of a hospital, owned my own crystal shop, worked for a small publishing company, and have been a freelance writer since 2003.  I always found excuses to write for every employer. Writing is the common thread woven through all the things I have done over the years and has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember.  I always wanted to be a published author.

A few years ago my first book, Crafting a Magical Life, was published by Findhorn Press.  In conjunction with the release of the book I also wrote articles for magazines like  PlanetLightworker.com Spirit and Balanced Life.

Carol Holaday Comic-Con 2011A Science Fiction and Fantasy buff since age 9 (which is a REALLY long time, guys), I am a Comic-Con junkie with an interest in pop culture, and I love Young Adult Literature. I like to write about witches, vampires and scary magical creatures.  Currently I am working on my first YA novel, Fallen Angel: Angel of Death. I also write reviews and articles for my baby e-zine, Fallen Angel Book, and have had flash fiction and articles published by sites such as SlackerHeroes.com

When I'm not doing all this other stuff I help people with editing and prepping their books for submission to agents or for self-publishing.

OH! And did I mention that I produce six shows for The Awakening Zone Network?

I'm an absolute believer that you're only as old as you choose to be. We have a choice to keep our minds young and fresh and our bodies in motion.  I want to be like Stan Lee, still rockin' and rollin' at 89.
